It's time for our February Edition of 2X2 Retro Reviews, our series within a series where my brother (Gavin) & I (Noah) trade retro movie suggestions and gather to discuss. We get a little sidetracked during what we've been watching, and fall down a simulation theory rabbit hole thanks to the new doc A Glitch In The Matrix (00:30:00) Then we finally get things rolling with 1988's Shakedown; a sly subversion of the buddy cop genre starring the classic pairing of Weller & Elliott (00:52:20) But as we all know, you can't do The Sorcerer Shakedown without 1977's Sorcerer from ARK of E favorite, good ol' Billy Friedkin (01:27:11)
